Immerse yourself in nature on our organic farm

La Grange du Bost has been an organic farm for 25 years and wildlife is abundant – from orchids and butterflies to hedgehogs and nightingales. A stay in one of our glamping tents is a chance to get back to nature and also experience life on a farm.

The Tents

Our stylish tents have all the comforts of a cosy cabin – separate bedrooms, private shower and toilet, well-equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove – but with canvas walls and no electricity you get to experience the best parts of camping: listening to owls at night, cooking dinner under the stars, relaxing on the deck taking in the view…

The Farm

La Grange du Bost comprises 20 hectares of fields, meadows, woods and orchards. Our focus is on wildlife and ecology, planting trees and hedges and restoring meadows. Guests are welcome to get involved: wildlife viewing, tree planting, collecting eggs from the hens and ducks, grooming the horse and donkey, etc.

Things To Do

As well as getting involved in farm life and exploring the woods and meadows where there are swings and playhouses for the children, there are plenty of walking and cycling trails on and around the farm. The nearby River Dronne offers magical natural swimming spots and canoeing adventures. After a busy day outdoors why not join us at the pizza oven to make and eat pizzas.

Charm of the Dordogne

Famous in France for its gastronomy, the picturesque Dordogne region has many fabulous markets, restaurants and vineyards to discover – not to mention its beautiful old villages and chateaux. The many caves of the area include Lascaux - world-renowned for its prehistoric paintings - and many others less famous but equally mind-blowing. The beautiful Dordogne Valley and the city of Bordeaux are both within easy reach of the farm.
